Weddings and Other Events
Rich in history and architectural beauty, the buildings of Plymouth Church have long served Brooklyn Heights as important spaces for sacred occasions and special events.

Plymouth Church is available for use by its members, friends and the general public under these guidelines:

Weddings

All weddings at Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims are performed by one of the Church's ministers. Several counseling sessions always precede a wedding. Weddings are only performed for church members or the children of members. Please speak to a minister if you are interested in being married at Plymouth.

Funerals and Memorial Services

Please speak to a minister to arrange a Christian funeral or a memorial service. Church membership is not required, although non-members will be charged for use of the facilities, as outlined above.

Baptisms

Baptism is the sign and seal of the covenant of grace, and welcomes the infant, child or adult into the household of faith. At Plymouth, Baptism customarily takes place during public worship. Please speak to one of the ministers if you seek Baptism for yourself or your child.

Special Event Rentals

The public spaces of Plymouth Church, including the Sanctuary, Hillis Hall, Reception Room and Gymnasium, are available to rent for presentations, parties and special events. Weekend rentals of the Gymnasium and/or Cranberry Street Playground for children’s parties are open only to Plymouth members and current families of the Plymouth Church School. For more information about any of these activities, please contact the Plymouth Events Coordinator, Amy Talcott, at the Church Office.
