MAY IS MISSION MONTH!
Whether your heart calls out to build housing for low-income families, empower New Yorkers, helping them to reenter the work force, support trafficking survivors, or feed the hungry - May at Plymouth will give you plenty of opportunities to lend a hand for Mission. Keep checking back as new oportunities will continue to be added throughout the month.
PROJECT: Chocolate CHiP Cookie
During the month of May, our Sunday School children on both Wednesdays and Sundays will be baking chocolate chip cookies for the homeless people served by CHiPS (Christian Help in Park Slope) and it's soup kitchen. We were told by the CHiPS director that they do not have funds to serve dessert - that's where we come in! The cookies will be delivered weekly and put in each person's lunch bag as a welcome treat.
