TIME FOR TWOS
Plymouth Church School's program for two-year-olds is designed as a gentle introduction to school. Time for Twos encourages children to explore new materials, work in a group, and make age-appropriate developmental transitions.
Time for Twos meets twice a week for two 12-weeks sessions, one in the Fall (October to mid-January) and one in the Winter/Spring (February to mid-May). The 75-minute classes are led by an experienced early childhood specialist. Children are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or caregiver. Separation is dealt with gradually; adults leave the classroom when the child is ready but must remain in the building. Adults take turns assisting the teacher.
A typical class includes an art project, free play, snack, story, and music.
How to Apply
Children who will be age two by December 31 of the current school year are eligible to enroll. An opportunity to enroll is first offered to our waitlist for two-year-olds (see Admissions for details). Enrollment in Time for Twos does not guarantee a place in the preschool the following year.
The fee for each 12 week session is $1,975 and is non-refundable. Fall students will be given priority for the Winter/Spring session. Classes begin in early October.
