Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Giving is a tangible way to express our gratitude for God’s generosity. Giving is itself a gift of God. God has put it within us to sacrifice because we are grateful, because we love God.

We give to Plymouth to fulfill the needs of those around us. We give to be part of something far greater than ourselves. The ministries, fellowship and mission of Plymouth are made possible through the generous support of our Church members and the broader community.

  • You honor the critical role Plymouth plays in your life by including the Church among your top giving priorities.

  • You support Plymouth Church's vibrant community of faith.

  • You broaden the Church's spiritual programs: Sunday worship, Sunday School, Christian Spiritual Development, Children’s Choirs, Adult Choir, Bible study groups and other activities that inspire and develop children, teens and adults of all ages.

  • You allow Plymouth Church to effect change in our community and in the world through Christian Help activities, partnerships with social welfare groups, Mission School of Hope and other groups, anti-human trafficking campaigns, twelve step programs – activities that further God's mission, and help many.

  • You support our beloved and historic home. Plymouth Church is blessed with spacious, beautiful, historic buildings and grounds that require constant upkeep.

Set up a scheduled giving program using Realm

How you give to Plymouth is a matter of personal preference, but many supporters choose to establish a regular giving program using Realm.

  • Giving throughout the year strengthens your ties to the church community — you are deciding in advance to give faithfully.

  • Scheduling gifts throughout the year allows you to set a realistic annual pledge amount and fulfill it on an ongoing basis.

  • Establishing a giving plan online simplifies the process and ensures that your support will continue in the midst of our busy lives.

  • Weekly, monthly, or quarterly support allows you to give consistently, even when not at church.

In addition to online giving, there are other ways to make a gift to Plymouth Church.

  • Give at worship. Place cash or checks in the offering plates at Sunday morning services. Include your name and address on the check or envelope so we can credit your donation against your pledge and for tax purposes. You can also mail your check to: Plymouth Church, 75 Hicks Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

  • Give via text. Simply text the word “Plymouth” to 73256 and follow the instructions on the screen. After you have given for the first time, your information will be saved for future use.

  • Use company matching programs or United Way. Many companies match employees' gifts to charitable organizations, including those that are faith-based. If your company has a matching gift program or you believe they might, contact Plymouth’s Director of Finance Kasia Bidus. If you give through your company's United Way program, you may be able to "write-in" a regular gift to Plymouth.

  • Make gifts of stocks, bonds and other securities. Learn more here.

  • Establish an estate plan. If you want to include Plymouth in your estate plan, make a deferred gift to the church, or name Plymouth as beneficiary of a revocable trust, retirement plan, or life insurance policy, contact Kasia Bidus who will connect you with a Plymouth stewardship leader.
